Don't Stop Believing!

On May first I recieved an invitation from a producer from a National TV show asking if I would be interested in auditioning for the show. He said that he had seen one of my videos on Instagram whereby I used a vent mask on an audience member making them my human puppet. He thought that it might be fun. I had been using the hashtag #agtlookatme on my videos, so as he told me during our phone conversation that he did and liked them.

We spoke later on and sent and recieved text messages and emails up until a few months ago. I sent him my audition demo tape that he (will give or) has given to the producers of the show to see if I would be a good fit. As he said to me via text, let's cross our finger and hope for the best.

For a while I was unsure if this guy was for real. After all there's lot's of trolls waiting for the right moment to scam you, humilate you or use you just to be cruel and get your hopes up. It leaves one thinking that after decades of hard work and struggle, you might finally be getting that big break. In the end this guys is legit, and I'll just have to be patient and wait for him to get back to me.

I've visualized in my mind what it would be like to walk on that stage infront of 3k people in the auditorium and even more watching on television. What will the judges say? What questions will they ask? Will they be kind or mean? What about the audience? Will they like me and applaud my performance or hate it and boo? Either way, it's an opportunity that will either build up or tear down my career. Just stay away from Howie Mandel lol.
