In order to get published in a reputable Scientific Journal, one has to be able to back up their research from peers and skeptics through questions aimed at poking holes in their findings. Once this occurs and the scientist can back up their hypothesis and research, it gets published. This is not a "philosophical" or "whimsical" hypothesis. This is based on hard core facts, research and evidence. This is why we need Democratic Presidential candidates to take this issue seriously in the next election.
